Colour Sudoku

Este juego de mesa es la versión en madera del clásico sudoku, bueno, y que en vez de números tiene bolitas de colores.

Este juego pertenece a la tienda danesa Flying Tiger, y como todo lo que podemos encontrar en la tienda, tiene un precio muy accesible. Son juegos bien diseñados pero a un precio más bajo. El problema que encontramos con esta marca es que los juegos no siempre están en todas las tiendas y aparecen y desaparecen del stock. 

Materiales que incluye el juego

Una tabla de madera con 9 cuadros grandes, los cuales tienen dentro 9 huecos para bolitas. 81 bolitas de colores

15 tarjetas con tres grados de dificultad, en el reverso de las cuales podrás encontrar la solución. 

¿Cómo se juega?

Como todos los sudokus es un reto individual, aunque podemos jugarlo de manera  cooperativa. 

Las normas del sudoku es que no se debe repetir el mismo color dentro del cuadrado, ni en la misma línea vertical, ni en la misma línea horizontal. Con estas normas en mente iremos reyenando el sudoku hasta que todos los huecos libres estén llenos de bolitas de colores. 

¿Qué procesos cognitivos podemos trabajar con este juego?

  • Atención:
    • Selectiva: ya que debemos atender cuidadosamente las bolas ya que están puestas para no poner un color incorrecto.
    • Sostenida: ya que vamos a tener que estar muy atentos durante 
  • Funciones ejecutivas:
    • Inhibición: en muchas ocasiones querremos poner un color que creemos que es correcto, pero antes de eso debemos revisar cuidadosamente que no está repetido el color. 
    • Planificación: podemos elaborar diferentes estrategias para realizar correctamente el sudoku.

Recomendaciones para utilizarlo:

Los sudokus son un juego mental realmente complicado, que requiere de altos niveles de concentración y razonamiento, una función ejecutiva compleja. Por ello no sería recomendable para niños menores de 7-8 años, y eso seria usando la versión más sencilla. Es cierto que gracias a que los restos que encontramos en las tarjetas vienen con las soluciones detras, lo que podemos hacer es rellenar más el sudoku y así hacer que el resolverlo sea más sencillo. 

Es un juego perfecto para trabajar estrategias, de este modo, podemos ir guiando a los niños a lo largo de la realización del sudoku “¿Cómo lo vas a hacer?”, “Antes de poner esa bolita, qué tenemos que mirar?”… 

La última recomendacióne es utilizar el material que encontramos en este juego para hacer una copia de modelo compleja. Con ello trabajamos la viso-percepción y la visocontrucción. La copia de modelo puede ser utilizada con niños más pequeños, 5-6 años. Y nos ayuda también a trabajar la atención y el establecimiento de restrategias como el utilizar otras bolitas de referencia “está encima de la roja”, o contar huecos para saber dónde debe ir exactamente la bolita que vamos a colocar.
